No bread for you! >;O

I am not starting this off with an apology! I promise! What I am going to do though.. *cough*I'm sorry*cough*.. Oh, where was I? Anyway, I have some rather unsettling news! I may (or may not) have Celiac's  disease. If you don't know what that is, it's sort of like an allergy to wheat. It's not exactly. It's really an intolerance to gluten which is a derivative of wheat which has also been linked to barley and rye. The good news is, I don't care much for bread. The bad news is, there's wheat or something of the like in almost everything! EVEN SOY SAUCE. No joke. Soy sauce is made of two ingredients. 1) Soy. 2) Wheat. Yep. That's it. In any event, I recently found out that 50% of Celiac's patients are also lactose intollerant. So, that would leave me with meat and vegetables. And soy. But no soy sauce. And lots of rice.

There are tons of rice flour products available like rice flour bread, brown rice tortillas, and rice crackers. Even some types of chips have gluten in the added flavor! Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame. So, I think this blog will really show off how adventurous I can be!
